Since Ernie left this world I've only been out here twice. Funny thing, I assumed my spot near the water and the Geese moved ever so slightly and made room for me. There are many through the day as they do whatever it is Geese do :) Seemed almost like old times. Later in the evening the ducks made rounds. Toward sunset they did what Ernie used to do, go around the pond as if performing a check. The Osprey appeared too. It made me smile.
