the other morning I looked outside and saw this little guy hanging with the sparrows. It looked around and then started to eat regular bird seed. Since I am a bit on the nutty side..... I planned to try to catch it.

so I bought a cheap cage, mirror, hanging type food and parakeet food. I set up the cage for it last night and nothing this am. But there was a black squirrel, that I have not seen before.

Anyway, I took the cage down, and set it aside this evening. I looked up and there was the parakeet or Budgie.

So I put out some of it's food and it ate a little. Hopefully, it will warm up to me and I can catch and see if we can find it's owner.

it has a leg band, although I couldn't read it. anyone know if there is a way I could find out if someone has it listed a missing ?
