My friend the Great Blue Heron. Stopped at the pond after work for the magical light. He walked right up beside me again.

From the Finiky Files.. Yes it's still overcast and rainy off and on :)
Earth Day - Please Respect Ernie's Space -- by picking up your trash, cups, fishing line, fishing hooks, plastic bags, water bottles, left over whatever it might be. Ernie and his friends are too beautiful to swim in your trash.
In the evening's I have been watering the new grass in my backyard, filling the birdbath too. This routine with the Robins started last year. When I water the grass or fill the birdbath, they will come and watch. Then they go to where I watered and hunt for worms. This was one of the robins waiting for me last night to go in so they could hunt for worms :)

Good news from Dr. Bromberg!! Mary McDhui's eye are much much better. New eye meds instructions to begin tapering her off. THANK YOU Dr. Bromberg and Miss Ann. :) Mary McD has Cat Herpes . Just like humans get cold sores, her outbreaks occur in her eyes..
Also, Dr. Bromberg photographs wildlife... however, unlike my ducks ;) she travels and has been to Africa and elsewhere to photograph wildlife.
Note: This was a quick snap,This photo doesn't due her justice, Dr. Bromberg is very lovely.
There is something magical about the setting sun, light touches the leaves once more before night sets in. Even better when a bird serenades the magical moment.
It was a so so day out there with sun and no sun. However, the pond was smooth like glass.
Since all the cool kids were trying it, I thought I would too. created with Photomatix
When I took this, it felt like just me, the Heron, ducks and geese. For that brief moment the rest of the world did not exist.
